This 6" carbon filter is designed to pair perfectly with any 6" inline fan. For optimal performance and smart controls, we highly recommend the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 Inline Fan System. You will also need compatible 6" ducting to connect them.
The lifespan of a carbon filter depends on usage and the environment's odor levels. On average, a filter should be replaced every 9 to 12 months. The reversible flanges on this model can help extend its life beyond typical filters.
Australian Virgin charcoal is considered the highest quality carbon for air filtration. It has a greater number of micropores, which provides a larger surface area for absorbing and trapping odor molecules and other organic compounds, resulting in superior air purification.
The included pre-filter cloth is machine washable. Simply remove it from the carbon filter and wash it on a gentle cycle with cold water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling it. We recommend washing it every 3-4 months to maintain optimal airflow.
