CenturionPro HP1 and HP3 Bucker Review

CenturionPro HP1 and HP3 Bucker Review

With harvest season around the corner, having a reliable bucker helps you speed up de-stemming of buds, without all the hassles.

Honestly, bucking isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do, as the challenges that come with de-stemming are synonymous with trimming buds by hand.

Luckily, there are a lot of automated buckers available in the market today.

If you seek to automate the bucking process but don’t want to spend for an industrial-sized machine, then you should take a look at the bucker series from CenturionPro.

Designed for emerging growers who want to speed up their product line, the HP buckers provides users with high performance bucking for both wet and dry buds.

The HP buckers have two (2) models available: the HP1 and HP3.

HP1 Bucker

The HP1 is the lower-tier bucker in the series.

But just because it’s a lower-tiered model, it does not mean it’s not capable.

The HP1 uses a 0.75 HP gear-driven motor to churn out all the power you need.

On its own, the HP1 can de-stem up to 175 pounds of wet and 35 pounds of dry buds in an hour. That effectively does the job of five (5) people.

The HP1 has five holes sizes and can take stems of up to 0.75 inches in diameter. In conjunction with the variable speed control, this bucker can adapt without any issues to the different densities of strains you are processing.

The HP1 is made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum, giving it a premium and durable feel. This bucker also comes with its stand with industrial casters, so you can move it around when needed.

You won’t have any issues setting up this machine, and thanks to its stainless steel and anodized aluminum, the HP1 is easy to clean.

HP3 Bucker

The HP3 Bucker is a set of three (3) HP1 Buckers chained together for thrice the power.

That means you get triple the capacity, the output, at a third of the effort to produce these outputs.

While the HP3 requires three (3) people to operate each bucking station, this bucker efficiently does the job of up to 21 people. You get more than 500 pounds of wet buds and 100 pounds of dry buds processed in an hour, one of the fastest bucking speeds in the industry.

Like the HP1, the HP3 also features the same premium and robust build. It also comes with its bucker stand with industrial casters for better mobility.

Upgrades

The HP1 and HP3 have the same upgrades to help you make your workflow more efficient.

If you need to take the HP to the field, you can upgrade to the off-road wheels for $399, so you can bring HP bucker for some on the spot bucking action.

You can also take your production up a notch when you integrate the HP buckers with a conveyor belt system.

Transition from bucking to trimming using the conveyor and integrate the CenturionPro trimmers into your setup. Using this system reduces the handling of buds and protects your trichomes in the process.

Conclusion

The HP series of buckers are formidable machines worth considering for your operations. With two capacities available, it is an excellent addition for small to medium scale growers looking to have a reliable bucking machine in its arsenal.

That said, if you are relatively new in cannabis processing, the HP1 is a good investment you can consider.

It may cost more than other buckers of similar capacity, but if you are serious about cannabis, then you can consider this machine.

But if you are on the lookout for something for the long-haul, you should consider the HP3 instead.

For its price, it’s an ideal future-proof bucker for those who have plans to expand operations later on.
